Beauty & Radiance

Beauty & Radiance is our little shop at 42/2, Chiria More. It’s pretty easy to find because we are right opposite Ma Sarada Maternity and Nursing Home. Being near a hospital means there’s always people walking by. We started this place because we wanted a local spot where people could come for their beauty needs without any stress. We do hair cutting, some skin treatments, and the usual stuff you’d expect. It’s just a few of us working here. We aren't some big chain from the city center. We know the names of most people who walk through the door. The mirrors are a bit old, and the chairs have some wear on them, but they’re comfortable enough. We try to keep the place clean, though the dust from the road makes it a constant job. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just basic service for the folks in the 700052 area. Sometimes it gets really busy on weekends, and people have to wait on the bench outside. We offer them water and tell them stories to pass the time. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a big boss in an office somewhere. It’s just us, the scissors, the creams, and the people from Chiria More who keep us going day after day. We’re just happy to be part of this busy Kolkata neighborhood.
