You can find Barun Hair Cutting Saloon on the ground floor along the Newtown Aquatica Road. We are in the Krishnapur area, specifically near the Thakdari Kali Mandir. It’s a busy part of town because of the road leading toward the water park. You can often hear the traffic moving toward Aquatica from our front door. The 700102 area is growing fast, but our little corner feels a bit more traditional. We have a small bench outside where people sit when it’s too crowded inside. The shop isn't fancy. We have some basic lighting and a few mirrors that have been here since we opened. We focus on getting the job done without too much fuss. Most of our customers are people who live in the apartments nearby or workers who are passing through Krishnapur. The temple nearby brings a lot of people to this street, especially on festival days. We keep our hours pretty regular, though we might stay open a bit later if there is a line of people waiting. The floor is concrete, which is practical for a hair shop. We don't do anything complicated, just standard cuts for the guys in the neighborhood. It’s a small business, and we take pride in knowing everyone’s name who walks through the door. It’s been a good few years for us here and we plan to stay for many more if the landlord keeps the rent the same.
