Droohin International

You can find our office at No. 34 Amritalal Mukherjee Road, which is under the P. O. Barisha area. It’s an older building, and the room we work in has high ceilings that keep it somewhat cool. Droohin International deals with a lot of international trade stuff, so there are always piles of shipping documents and labels sitting on the desks. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the boxes are packed correctly before they head out. It isn’t glamorous work. Most of the day is spent on the phone or typing out details into the system. The street outside is usually busy with rickshaws and people walking to the post office. We take our tea breaks together in the small corner by the window where there is a bit of a breeze. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a while to get things sent off, but that is just part of working in this part of town. We’ve been at this location for a while now and the neighbors know us well. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering calls to hauling a heavy crate. We just try to keep the orders moving and make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
