Barik Saloon

Barik Saloon is located in Jagatpur, specifically in the Aswini Nagar area near Baguihati. We are situated along the VIP Road in Kolkata, 700059. Being near VIP Road means there is a lot of traffic passing by all the time. You can hear the cars and buses constantly. Our shop is just a small local place among many others in this busy stretch. It’s not very big inside. We have the essential things like mirrors, chairs, and combs. It is a bit of an old-fashioned setup, to be honest. We don’t really go for the modern look. It’s just a place to get a haircut or a shave without spending too much. The people who come here are usually from the nearby houses in Jagatpur or Aswini Nagar. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming for years. They like that the place hasn't changed much. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we clean up every morning before we start. It is a simple life running a saloon here. We just take one customer at a time and do our best. There is no rush, even when it gets busy. We just keep working until the sun goes down and it is time to close up for the day. Sometimes we stay a little late if there is someone still waiting on the bench.
