Bansal Marble Centre has been sitting at 1 Jyotish Roy Rd in New Alipur for quite a few years now. Being at the start of the road makes it pretty easy for people to find us. We deal with all kinds of marble and stone for home projects. It’s a heavy business, literally, so there is always a lot of lifting and moving going on around here. The yard is full of different slabs and pieces we’ve collected over time. We aren't the type to wear suits or have a polished front desk. Usually, you’ll find us out back checking the stock or helping someone pick out a piece that fits their budget. New Alipur is a good area to be in, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the local contractors and families who are fixing up their places. We try to keep things straightforward. If a piece of marble has a crack or a weird mark, we’ll tell you. We don't see the point in hiding things. The shop gets a bit messy with the stone dust and the water we use for cutting, but that’s just part of the trade. We just want to provide a solid product without any of the extra fluff. It’s a simple operation and we like keeping it that way. If you need stone, we’re here on the corner. We just do our best to get the right material into your hands.
