Bansal Marble Centre

Bansal Marble Centre is situated at No. 1, Jyotish Roy Road. We are directly across from Block O in the New Alipore area. It’s a busy spot and the traffic on Jyotish Roy Road can be quite something during the day. Our shop isn't a modern gallery or anything like that. It’s a practical space where we keep our marble slabs and handle our daily business. There is always a layer of stone dust over everything, but we’ve used to it over the years. Most of our day is spent moving heavy pieces around so people can get a better look at the patterns in the stone. New Alipore is a good place for a business like ours, even if parking is a bit of a nightmare for our visitors. We know most of the people on this street since we’ve been here for a long time. It’s a very local feel, and we like it that way. We don't do any big advertising or have a polished website. It’s just us answering the phone and talking to the people who walk in off the street. Some days are really hectic with deliveries going out, and other days we just sit and wait for the phone to ring. We don't try to be something we aren't. It's just a regular marble shop where we try to keep things moving and get the orders right.
