Radha Rani Marbles

Radha Rani Marbles is over at 130/56 Bangur Avenue, specifically in Block-A. It’s a pretty well-known spot in the neighborhood. We’ve got stacks of marble slabs lined up, and we spend most of our time showing them to people who are building new houses or fixing up their old ones. Bangur Avenue is a nice place to be, though it gets quite busy on the weekends. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a lot of stone and a small area where we sit down with customers. We handle everything from the basic white marble to some of the more colorful stones. Moving these slabs is hard work and requires a lot of care so they don't crack. We usually have a few guys around to help with the lifting. The dust from cutting stone is part of the daily life here. We try to keep the place tidy, but it's a constant battle. People come in with their measurements on scraps of paper, and we try to figure out how many slabs they’ll need. It’s a lot of math and patience. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the local contractors. It’s a steady rhythm of selling stone, loading trucks, and waiting for the next person to walk in. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy.
