Balaram State General Hospital

This is the state general hospital out here in Khardum. It’s a government-run place, so it’s usually very crowded and a bit loud with people coming from all over the district. The building itself has been around for a long time and shows its age in some spots. We have different wards for all sorts of medical issues, and there is always a lot of activity in the hallways. Doctors and nurses are constantly moving around, and you’ll see families sitting on the benches or sometimes even on the floor when it gets really packed. It’s not the most modern facility, but it’s where everyone comes when they need help and don't have anywhere else to go. The daily routine starts very early with the morning rounds and the outpatient department opening up. Khardum is a busy area, and the hospital is right in the middle of all that. We see everything here, from small scrapes to people who are really sick and need to stay for a few days. The air always has that hospital smell of cleaning supplies. It’s a tough job sometimes because there are so many people to see, but it’s just the way things work at a public hospital like this one. We just try to keep things moving and help as many people as possible before the day ends. It is just life in a public medical center.
