Baba Lokenath Salon

You can find Baba Lokenath Salon on the ground floor of a building on Krishnapur Chandiberia Road. We are very close to the Bishalakshmi Devi Apartment, which is a big landmark around here that everyone knows. It’s a convenient spot for the people living in the flats nearby. I spend my days here cutting hair and chatting with the locals who come by. The shop is pretty basic. We have a couple of sturdy chairs and all the usual combs and clippers. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it a bit quieter, which I actually like. Most of our customers are people who live right on this street or in the apartment building next door. We do simple haircuts, shaves, and maybe a head massage if someone is feeling tired after work. I’ve been doing this for a long time, so I don't need to think about it too much anymore. My hands just know what to do. The shop is small and we don't have any air conditioning, just a good ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't promise anything fancy, just a decent cut so you look presentable for your day. We open up in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. It’s a steady pace and I like it.
