Aryaki Luxury Leather Boutique is located at 468 MG Road in the Haridevpur area. Dealing with leather means the shop always has a very particular smell, something we have lived with for a long time now. We are right on the main road, so there is a constant sound of buses and cars passing by. The shop is a functional space where we keep all sorts of leather items like bags and belts. It isn't a shiny or polished showroom; it looks like a place where work actually happens. You might see some tools or bits of leather scraps if you look closely. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the foot traffic over the years. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the leather and making sure the stitching is okay on every piece. It is a lot of hard work and it can be quite tiring. We have a couple of chairs for people who want to take their time looking at the different things we have on the shelves. Most people find us just by passing through Haridevpur and seeing the shop on MG Road. We don't have any big corporate plans or fancy displays. It is just us in the shop, day in and day out, looking after the stock and talking to whoever comes in. It is a plain, honest business and we just focus on the items we have.
