Arup Saloon

Arup Saloon has been sitting here in Jagat Pur Bazar for a good amount of time now. Most people know where we are, right near the Baguihati side of things off VIP Road. It is not a fancy place with big lights or anything like that. We just have the usual chairs and mirrors you see in any neighborhood shop. Usually, someone is sitting outside waiting or just chatting because the market gets busy. When you walk in, you might hear the radio playing or just the sound of scissors. It gets a bit crowded on weekends because everyone wants to look decent for the coming week. We keep things pretty simple. There is no big menu of services, just what people usually need when they come through the door. Sometimes the fans are working hard, and the floor has hair on it until we get a minute to sweep. It is just a regular spot where people from around Baguihati come by. Some customers have been coming here since they were kids. It’s part of the routine for many folks who live around the VIP Road area. We don't try to be something we aren't. It's just a shop in the bazaar. We try to keep the chairs moving and make sure nobody waits too long under the fan. It is just us here every day, doing the work. The mirrors are old but they work fine for what we need. We have a small bench outside too.
