Arun Saloon

Arun Saloon is tucked away in the Jagatpur area, specifically in Adarshapally near Gouranga Nagar. We are not too far from the busy VIP Road in Baguihati, but it feels a bit more tucked back here. The shop is a small room where we have been cutting hair for years. It is a very basic setup with just what we need to get through the day. We have some old wooden cabinets and mirrors that have been there since we started. Most of the people who come in live just a few streets away. They walk over when they have some free time. It is a nice little spot where people can relax for a bit while we work. There is usually a radio playing softly in the background, mostly news or some old songs. We do not have any assistants or big staff, just us doing the work ourselves. The days are long, but we are used to the routine by now. We see the neighborhood changing around us, with new buildings going up, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It is a place where you can get a simple haircut without paying too much. We do not use any complicated machines, just the usual scissors and clippers. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the daily life here in Adarshapally, watching people grow up and move on while we stay right here.
