Arumi Properties is based at 7/1A Grant Lane on the 1st floor. Grant Lane is a bit of a narrow street, so it can be a bit tricky to find if you are not from around here. It is right in the heart of Kolkata, which means it is always noisy and full of life outside. Our office isn't anything fancy. It’s just a place where we sit down to manage the property work we have on our plates. We have a couple of rooms and some basic furniture that has been here since we started. A lot of our day is spent talking to people about local real estate and trying to sort out the paperwork that comes with it. The 1st-floor location is handy for people who want to drop by and ask a quick question. We see a lot of different folks coming through the door. Some are looking for a small flat and others have bigger projects in mind. We just take it as it comes. The area has its own charm, even if it gets a bit crowded during the middle of the day. We usually grab some snacks from the local vendors nearby when we have a break. It is a very local way of working and we are quite used to the hustle and bustle of Grant Lane. We don't have a big corporate structure, just a team of people who know the local property market and work together to get things done.
