Arpitaz Hair & Beauty

We are located at 25/9 on Hospital Road, not too far from the Geetanjali Park bus stop. It’s a handy spot because people can just hop off the bus and walk over. Arpitaz Hair & Beauty is where we spend our whole day, mostly dealing with hair and basic beauty stuff. The room isn't very large, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other when we’re moving around. There is a smell of hairspray and shampoo that stays in the air even after we close up for the night. We have a small sink for washing hair and a couple of chairs that have seen better days but are still comfortable enough. The light comes in through the front door during the afternoon, which is nice. We spend a lot of time sweeping up hair and tidying the shelves where we keep the bottles. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is around here. We have a little mirror by the door so people can check themselves one last time before they go back out to the bus stop. It’s a simple business and we don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work on whoever walks in. It gets noisy when the buses go past, but we are used to it by now.
