Aronnyok Boutique

Aronnyok Boutique is found at Temple Point, specifically in Flat No. G 2 on the Kalitala Link Road in Kalikapur. Our location is inside a residential building, so it doesn't feel like a typical store on a high street. You have to look for the 55-140 Purbachal North address to find us. Because we are in a flat, it is a bit more private and quiet. The main room is where we keep all the racks of clothes and a large table that we use for almost everything, from cutting fabric to packing orders. It can get a bit messy with threads on the floor and stacks of fabric everywhere, but that is just how a working boutique looks. We don't have any big signs or advertisements outside. Most of the people who come to see us have heard about the shop from a friend or relative. We spend most of our day here, surrounded by different materials and colors. The morning light coming through the windows is the best for looking at the patterns. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just a delivery, but other times it's someone who has come from quite far away to see our work. It is a comfortable space for us and we just try to keep things organized as best as we can. It’s a very simple, personal way of running a shop, and we like the quiet atmosphere of Kalikapur.
