Apollo Gieneagles Hospital

It is quite a busy place here at 58 Canal Circular Road. Most days, you will see people coming in and out of the doors from early morning until very late at night. Apollo Gieneagles Hospital has been sitting on this stretch of Canal Circular Road for a while now, and the traffic outside can get pretty backed up during the rush hour. When you walk inside, it smells like any other big medical building, mostly floor cleaner and coffee from the little canteen area. The staff here are usually hurrying around with clipboards or looking at screens, trying to keep track of everyone waiting in the halls. It isn’t the quietest spot in the world because there is always some kind of noise, whether it is an ambulance siren or just people talking in the corridors. We have a lot of rooms and different floors, so people sometimes get a bit turned any which way trying to find where they need to go. The chairs in the waiting areas are okay, but they get filled up fast when it's a busy Tuesday or Wednesday. It feels like a small city inside this one building sometimes. People from all over the neighborhood come here when they aren't feeling right or have an appointment to keep. The lights stay on all the time, and there is always someone at the desk if you need to ask where the elevators are. It’s just how things go here every day.
