Our office is down on the ground floor at 31A Sadananda Road. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for a few desks and some old files. Most days it’s pretty quiet until the phones start going, and then we’re all trying to talk over each other. We’ve been here a while now. The street outside is usually busy with people walking to the market or heading home from work. Sometimes the humidity in Kolkata makes the air feel heavy, but we just keep the fans going and get on with things. Advertising work isn't always glamorous like people think. There’s a lot of back and forth with printing and checking layouts. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for things to happen. The door is almost always open so we can see who's passing by. Sometimes neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. It feels more like a small community than a big office building. We have some stacks of old newspapers in the corner that we really should move, but they’ve just become part of the furniture now. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is. It’s just how we do things here every day. It’s a simple setup on Sadananda Road and it works for us. We don't have a lot of fancy tech, just what we need to get the job done.
