Anumits Boutique

Anumits Boutique is located up on the second floor at 175W/2 Maniktala Main Road. Being in Kankurgachi, it’s a fairly busy area, but being on the second floor makes it a little quieter than the street level. You have to walk up the stairs to find us, which can be a bit tiring on hot days. It’s not a huge space, but we’ve packed it with as much as we can fit on the shelves. We spend a lot of our time organizing the racks and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we make it work. Working from the second floor means we don’t get as many random walk-ins as the ground floor shops, so we mostly see people who are looking for us specifically. It’s a bit of a climb, but we think it’s worth it. We’ve been at this address in Maniktala for some time now. We aren't part of some big chain, just a local boutique trying to provide something for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and sorting through fabrics, but that’s the job. We don’t have fancy displays, just simple racks and a couple of mirrors for people to use. It’s a practical setup for the way we work day in and day out.
