Ankhi Boutique

Ankhi Boutique is located at Plot No. 8/11 on East Mall Road. We are quite close to the Space Circle Club, so people usually use that as a landmark to find us. The road gets pretty busy, especially on the weekends when people are out and about. We’ve got a decent little spot here where we keep all our things. It’s not a very large building, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Every morning we come in, unlock the shutters, and start getting things ready for the day. There’s always dusting to be done or something that needs to be moved from one shelf to another. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, which makes it quite bright inside. We usually have the radio playing low in the background while we work. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting sometimes, or other times it’s a rush if a few people come in at once. East Mall Road has changed a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed right here in this plot. We know the people at the nearby shops and say hello when we’re out getting tea. It’s just a normal way to earn a living, keeping the boutique going and making sure the clothes look presentable on the racks. There’s always something to do, even on the quiet days. It works for us.
