Amrihospital

Amrihospital is located down at 14b Beerpara Lane, which is right by the Dum Dum junction. If you are coming by train, it is a short walk, but the lane can be a bit tricky to navigate if you are driving because it is quite narrow. It is an old part of the neighborhood. The building has been here for years, and you can tell by the way the walls look in some of the older sections. We do not have a massive lobby, just a simple space where people wait. Usually, you can hear the trains passing by in the distance, which is just part of the background noise for us now. The staff mostly takes the local trains to get here, so we are all very familiar with the commute. It gets pretty crowded during the monsoon when the rain hits the lane. We spend a lot of time coordinating things between the different floors. It is a practical setup without any extra frills. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a local spot near the station where people end up when they have health stuff to deal with. It is simple and it works for the people living around Dum Dum and the surrounding areas. We mostly just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks.
