Amri Hospital

Our place is tucked away on Barkohala Lane, right behind that big Metro Cash and Carry in Kalikapur. It can be a little tricky to find if you are not looking for the lane, but once you see the Metro sign, you are basically there. We have been at this Mukundapur-Kalikapur spot for some time now. It is a quiet enough area compared to the main road, which is nice for the patients who need to rest. We started Amri Hospital because the neighborhood was growing fast and people needed somewhere close to go. We have various floors and sections for different things, and it keeps us pretty busy from morning till night. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we know the local shortcuts and the shops around here. It is not one of those glass buildings that looks like an office; it feels more like a proper hospital where people actually do work. We get folks coming in from all over this part of Kolkata. The parking can be a bit of a squeeze during peak hours, but that is typical for this side of town. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets hectic in the lobby. There is always someone at the desk to tell you where to go. We do not do much advertising; most people just know us because we are behind the Metro. It is just a regular, functional place for the community. Sometimes the rain makes the lane muddy, but we keep the inside clean.
