You can find us in Memari, specifically at Goutam Chatterjee’s place in Khanro, right near the football ground. It’s a nice little spot. Sometimes we can hear the games going on outside while we're working on our medical science projects. We aren't a giant institute with hundreds of people. Alopa Institute is more of a small, focused team. We have a few rooms where we keep our research materials and computers. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you’re coming from the big city, but we like the quiet of Memari. The building is just a regular house style, nothing corporate about it. We have some local staff who walk or bike to work. We spend our time looking at medical data and trying to understand things better. It’s not always exciting work, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people just know us through word of mouth in the neighborhood. We try to keep things organized, though the filing system could probably use an update. It’s just a practical place for people who care about medical science. We are just here doing our bit, day in and day out, without any fuss or complicated rules for visitors.
