Heritage School

Being over here at 994 on the E M Bypass, things are always a bit busy. If you know the area near Ruby Hospital, you know how the traffic gets. Heritage School sits right in the middle of all that action in Madurdaha. It’s a large building and you can’t really miss it if you’re heading down Chowbagha Rd. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily stuff of being in East Township. There are a lot of stairs to climb and hallways to keep clear. The mornings are the loudest part of the day, with buses and cars pulling up constantly. It’s a bit of a juggle getting everyone inside. Once the day starts, it settles down some, but you can still hear the bypass noise in the background. We have a lot of rooms to look after. The maintenance staff is usually busy fixing a desk or painting a wall. It’s an old-school way of running things, really. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations. We just make sure the lights work and the floors are scrubbed. Living and working near the Ruby Hospital area means we’re easy to find, which is good because the roads around here can get confusing. We’ve seen the East Township area change a lot over the years, but the school just keeps going. It’s just a regular place where we show up and do the work. It's nothing fancy, just us.
