Calcutta Boys School

Our school is located at 72 Surendra Nath Banerjee Road, which is pretty much right in the thick of things in central Kolkata. If you’ve ever walked down SN Banerjee Road, you know it’s noisy, crowded, and full of life at every hour of the day. The school building sits right there, a bit of a landmark for people in the area. It’s an old institution for boys, and you can definitely tell by the architecture. The walls are thick, and the gates have seen better days, but they’ve held up well over the decades. Inside, it’s a whole different world compared to the chaos of the main road outside. We have our courtyards and classrooms where things are much more organized, though the sound of the trams and buses still drifts in through the windows. The staff here mostly focuses on getting through the syllabus and managing the daily schedule. We don’t really have any fancy marketing teams or polished brochures. We just show up, do our jobs, and make sure the boys are staying out of trouble. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for parents to reach us, but that’s just life in this part of town. It’s an honest, no-frills kind of place that has been doing the same thing for a very long time without needing to change much. We just keep our heads down and work.
