Allied Industries & Products

Our place, Allied Industries & Products, is tucked away in room 331 on the third floor of 62/B Netaji Subhash Road. It’s one of those old buildings where you have to know which hallway to turn down or you might get lost. We’ve been operating out of this small office for quite some time now. Dealing with industrial supplies isn't always the most exciting thing, but it’s what we know how to do. The lift in the building is a bit temperamental and slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs up to the third floor, which is good for the legs I suppose. We deal with various products that factories and workshops need to keep their machines from breaking down. It’s mostly just us handling phone calls and checking stock lists on the computer all day. The desks are usually piled high with old catalogs and handwritten order forms. Netaji Subhash Road is always crowded with people and trucks, so it gets pretty noisy outside our windows even when they are closed. We don't have a big fancy showroom for people to walk through. Usually, customers just call us up or send a message when they are looking for something specific. We try to help when someone has a question about a part, even if it takes us a few minutes to find the right book. It’s a busy life in this part of town, and we just keep our heads down.
