Ahir Boutique

Ahir Boutique is a small place located in the Ghola Bazar area, specifically in the Palkee Bari building on Pandit Sarada Banerjee Road. It is a bit of a walk from the main crossing, but most people in Nabapally know the spot. The shop is usually filled with stacks of fabrics and clothes that we have collected over time. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us who manage everything from opening the shutters in the morning to cleaning the dust off the shelves. The road outside can get quite busy with rickshaws and autos, so it is never really quiet here. We spend a lot of our day folding and unfolding things for people who stop by after doing their daily market shopping. It is not a fancy showroom with bright lights; it is more of a practical space where we keep our stock. Sometimes the back room gets a bit cluttered with new arrivals, and it takes us a while to get everything sorted and hung up properly. The fans run all day to keep the heat away, and we often have tea while waiting for the evening rush. It is a simple operation and we just try to keep things moving. Most of our neighbors drop in just to say hello or to see if anything new has come in. We like the local feel of the place and the way the community around Ghola Bazar works.
