Adhunik Metal & Alloys

Adhunik Metal & Alloys is right there on N. S. Road. Being No. 23-A, we are basically neighbors with the Reserve Bank of India, which is a bit funny when you think about it. One side is this massive, serious bank and then there’s us with our metal and alloys in a much smaller space. This part of town is very old and the buildings have that heavy, historic feel to them. We deal with a lot of different metals, so the place is always full of scraps and sheets leaning against the walls. It’s not the cleanest business to be in, but it’s what we know how to do. The street outside is always humming with people and vehicles. N. S. Road is a main artery, so you never really get any silence until late at night when the city sleeps. We’ve got a small office area blocked off with some wood panels, but most of the space is for the stock. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. It’s an honest way to do business in a busy city. We’ve seen the area change, new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’ve stayed put in the same spot for quite a long time. The dust from the metal is something you just get used to after a week. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just sell metal to people who need it.
