If you look for us, you’ll find Aadhvan Advisor Private Limited over at 85 Prince Anwar Shah Road. We’re tucked away in City High Tower II, specifically on the 41st floor. It’s quite a way up, and sometimes the wait for the elevator feels like it takes forever, especially when everyone is coming in at once. Once you get up there, though, it’s a lot quieter than the street below. Prince Anwar Shah Road is always packed with traffic and people, so being high up gives us a bit of peace to actually get things done. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s functional, with desks that have seen better days and stacks of files that we really should organize better. We spend most of our time going through documents and talking about different cases. There’s only a small group of us here, so we all know each other’s habits, like who drinks too much coffee or who leaves their lunch in the fridge. We don’t have a fancy reception or anyone to greet you with a scripted line. We just work. It’s a practical space for practical people. We’ve been in Kolkata for a long time, and this office is just where we happen to be. We take the work seriously, but we don't act like we’re something we aren't. We’re just people doing a job and trying to keep our heads down.
