A One Hair Care

A One Hair Care is located in the Sinthee area of Kolkata, specifically on K C Ghosh Road. It’s a straightforward hair shop for the local people. We have the usual setup with long mirrors and those heavy chairs that can be raised or lowered. The floor is usually covered in a bit of hair because we are always busy, though we try to sweep it up whenever we get a break. K C Ghosh Road is a busy street, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that do their job. The walls are decorated with some pictures of different haircuts that were popular a few years ago. We know most of the guys who come in. They live in the blocks nearby and come here regularly. It’s a very casual place. You can come in, get your hair cut, and talk about the football scores or the price of vegetables. We keep our tools on a little cart that we wheel around. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be a high-end salon. We just want to give a decent haircut to the people in Sinthee and keep things moving every day.
