It’s pretty loud here at Plot No. 3 in the Kasba Industrial Estate. Most mornings start with the sound of shutters going up and the smell of grease from the workshops down the road. We’ve been at this spot in Phase-I for a while now. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks piled with manifests and a coffee machine that leaks if you don't tilt it right. People come and go all day, mostly drivers checking on their loads or guys from the other units popping in to borrow a tool. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to make sure things get where they need to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy the street outside floods a bit, and we have to move the boxes higher up. It’s just how it is in this part of town. You get used to the dust and the constant humming of the machines. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. Usually, if there’s a problem, we just sit around the big table and talk it through until it’s sorted. The walls are a bit yellowed from the years, but they hold up. Working in an industrial area means you don’t worry about looking perfect. You just focus on getting the crates packed and the paperwork signed off before the sun goes down and the traffic gets bad.
