5 Star Hair Dresser

5 Star Hair Dresser is at 919, Jessore Road in Laketown. We are very close to the Lake Town Jessore Road crossing. That intersection is always a mess with cars and buses. It makes our shop a bit noisy, but it also brings in a lot of people. The name 5 Star was just something we thought sounded good years ago. We are just a normal hair dresser shop for men. Kolkata 700089 is a busy place to work. I have a couple of guys working with me. We have four chairs in a row. The floor is tiled, but some of the tiles are cracked. It doesn't bother anyone. We have a big water jar in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. On hot days, we go through it very fast. The mirrors are framed in wood and they take up most of one wall. We use those old spray bottles that you have to squeeze. Sometimes they get clogged and we have to poke them with a pin. It’s just how things are. We see people from all walks of life. Some are in a hurry and some want to linger. We don't mind either way. We are just here from morning till night, six days a week. It’s a steady routine on Jessore Road. There is a small tea stall nearby and the smell of the tea sometimes drifts in. It is a nice addition to the day.
