You can find Taralekar Engineering Pvt. Ltd. at B-23 in the M.I.D.C. Gokul Shirgaon Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of the region, and there’s always a truck or a tempo parked out front. Our workshop is a practical space designed for engineering work. We aren't interested in looking corporate or polished. The floor is concrete, the roof is tin, and it gets really loud when the rain hits it during the monsoon season. We’ve got a small team here at B-23. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don’t need to say much to get things done. Gokul Shirgaon is a tough, industrial place, and we fit right in. We don't have a fancy reception area; if you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with the machines. We handle different engineering tasks depending on what’s needed that week. It’s a lot of manual work, checking tolerances and making sure everything fits together. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, or a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just the reality of running a shop like this. We don’t make big promises, we just try to do a decent job on every piece that leaves the M.I.D.C. estate. It’s a straightforward life here in the industrial area and we are used to the daily grind.
