Planters Trade Link

Our business is located in the Kolhapur Ho area. We deal with trade links, which basically means we spend our days coordinating between different suppliers and buyers. The office is not much to look at, just a few desks piled high with ledgers and some old computers that take forever to start up. We have a storage space in the back where we keep some of the goods before they get moved out again. It is often busy with trucks coming in and out of the yard. The noise of the engines and the smell of exhaust are part of our daily life. We drink a lot of coffee while we sit on the phone trying to track down shipments. Kolhapur is a busy place for trade, so there is always someone looking for something. We do not have a storefront for walk-in customers really, it is more about the logistics of moving things. The floor in the warehouse is stained with oil and there are pallets stacked up in the corners. Sometimes the rain leaks through a small spot in the roof, so we have to move the boxes around to keep them dry. We have a small crew here, and we have all worked together for a long time. It is a lot of manual work and paperwork combined. We just try to keep the orders moving so nothing sits for too long. It is a plain business, focused on getting things from one place to another.
