Kohinoor Green

Our place is out in B-7/14 in the MIDC area of Miraj. If you know Sangli, you know this part of town is mostly factories and warehouses. We’ve been operating from this shed for quite some time. It’s not a quiet place, there’s always the sound of machinery or trucks passing by on the main road. Kohinoor Green is where we handle our daily business. We mostly deal with local clients from around the district. Inside, it’s mostly workspace and storage. We don't spend much time making it look pretty because there is always work to do. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces. It gets really hot in the summer months, so we usually have the big fans running all day long. My cousin helps out with the paperwork, and we have a couple of guys who have been with us for years. They know the routine better than anyone. We drink a lot of tea while we figure out the day’s schedule. It isn't a huge operation, but we stay busy enough. The neighbors in the other units are good people, and we often help each other out if someone’s crane breaks or if they need an extra hand with a heavy load. It’s a simple setup but it works for us.
