Malu Classes

Malu Classes is down in the basement of the Shiv Capital building. We are located in Gulmohor Colony in Sangli. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main market, which is nice for when we are trying to teach. You can find us right opposite the Jairaj Residency. If you’re walking from the Chinmay Ashram, it’s just a short walk away. Being in the basement means it stays a little cooler during the hot Sangli summers, but we still have the fans going all day. The space is simple. We’ve got some benches and a place for the students to leave their bags. It’s not a large office, but we make the most of the rooms we have. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a big group comes in at once, but we manage to fit everyone. We spend a lot of time just chatting with parents or checking on how the kids are doing with their work. There is a lot of back and forth throughout the day. The building itself is easy to spot once you get into Gulmohor Colony. We don't have any flashy lights or big advertisements outside, just the name on the door. It’s a local place through and through. Most of the people who come here know us from the neighborhood. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and get started with the lessons. It is just a regular life here at the classes, focused on the books and the students.
