Chhatrapati Classes

You can find Chhatrapati Classes over in Siddharthnagar, right on the MIDC Road in Gokul Shirgaon. We are located very close to the Sony Kirana Store, which is the best landmark to use if you are looking for our entrance. This is a busy industrial area in Kolhapur, so there is almost always noise from the trucks on the road and the nearby shops. Our classes are mostly held in the evenings when the students are finally done with their regular school or college for the day. We have a few rooms set up with simple benches and boards where the actual teaching happens. Somnath Ghodke handles a lot of the day-to-day things around here. It is not a fancy tuition center with glass walls or air conditioning. It is just a simple place with some ceiling fans and a lot of textbooks and notebooks lying around the desks. We focus on the subjects that the kids usually find the most difficult, like math and science. The students come from the local area, mostly walking or riding their bicycles here after they have had their tea at home. We spend a lot of time going over old question papers and helping them with their daily homework. Sometimes the power goes out in the evening, and we just have to wait it out. It is a very local operation and we know all the families in this part of town.
