Our office is located on the fourth floor of Amatya Tower, specifically in rooms 24 to 26. This is right at Dabholkar Corner, which is a pretty busy and loud spot if you know the area well. We work in the sugar and agro sector, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with heaps of paperwork related to sugar trading and processing. It is not a farm, obviously, but we act as the main link between the sugar mills and the buyers. The office is often filled with the sound of calculators and people discussing the latest market prices. Being in a commercial building like this makes it a lot easier for people to drop by and talk business in person. We have been here for a while now, and the daily routine stays pretty much the same. Checking the market rates and talking to transporters occupies most of our morning. We make sure the sugar gets to where it needs to go on time. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow or breaks down, so we end up taking the stairs. It is just a regular workspace with desks, a few computers, and some files piled up in the corners. We aren't trying to be anything flashy or corporate. Most of our team has been around the sugar industry for many years, so we understand the market cycles. It gets hectic during crushing season.
