Hotel Satish Palace

You’ll find Hotel Satish Palace on the Jaysingpur Kolhapur Road. It’s a bit out of the main city, which makes it a good spot for people driving between towns. We’ve been here at this Kolhapur address for a while now, and it’s a pretty simple operation. The building has a bit of a yard where people can park their cars, which is helpful. We don't have a big fancy entrance with a doorman or anything like that. You just walk in and we greet you from the counter. Most of the time, it’s just me or one of the boys working here. We spend our mornings checking the linens and making sure the bathrooms are scrubbed. It’s a lot of routine work, but it has to be done. The road outside can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the furniture. We get travelers who are tired from the drive and just want a quiet room for the night. We don't have a big restaurant, but we can usually tell you where to get some good local food nearby. It’s a practical place for practical people who are on the move. We don't use any big corporate talk because that’s not who we are. We are just local people running a hotel on the highway, trying to make sure everyone who stays here has what they need for a decent rest.
