Hotel Samudra

We are located on the Sangli Islampur bypass road. It’s a good spot for people who are driving between the two towns and don’t want to go all the way into the city center. The road is always busy with traffic, so you can't miss us if you're looking. We’ve been operating here for a while, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. We offer rooms and some food for travelers. It’s not a place for a fancy vacation, just a practical stop for someone who is tired from driving. We have a few guys working here who help with the luggage and the rooms. They aren't trained hotel professionals, just local men who need work and know how to be helpful. Sometimes the water pressure isn't the best, but we're working on that. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just the basics. It’s a bit plain, but it gets the job done. Most of our guests are truck drivers or salesmen who are on the road all week. They just want a place to sleep and maybe a hot meal. We don't do any big marketing. Usually, people just see our sign from the bypass and turn in. It’s a quiet enough place at night once the heavy traffic dies down a little. We just try to keep things running smoothly day to day without any major fuss or expensive extras.
