Hotel River Point

Hotel River Point is located on Kolhapur Road in Ankali, right near Sangli. We are very close to the Krishna River, which is why we picked the name. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the main city, situated in the 416416 area. The Ankali bridge is nearby, and you can see it from the road. We opened this place because we wanted to have a business near our home. We do most of the work ourselves, from managing the bookings to making sure the entrance stays clean. It’s a lot of manual work and we don’t have any fancy software to do it for us. We just use a big ledger book for the guests. The river makes the air a bit cooler in the evenings, which is nice for the people who stay here. We get a lot of people who are traveling between Kolhapur and Sangli for work. They usually just need a place for one night. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local family trying to make a living. Sometimes the cows from the nearby farm wander onto the road, and we have to shoo them away. It's just part of living in this part of town. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just clean rooms and a place to park your vehicle. That’s really all we are about here. We keep it simple and try to be honest with everyone who visits us.
