Hotel Rayba

We are tucked away on Kalmba Road in the Mangalwar Peth area of Kolhapur. Being near the Hanuman Mandir means we hear the bells ringing early in the morning. It’s a nice sound to wake up to, honestly. The streets around Mirajkar Tikti are narrow and always full of people walking to the temple or the market. At Hotel Rayba, we don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. The 416012 zip code is a busy part of town. We have a small desk near the entrance where someone is usually sitting. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a bit. The rooms are basic, just a bed and a small table. We do the cleaning ourselves every morning after the guests leave. It gets quite humid here, so we keep the windows open to let the air move through the halls. You can smell the food cooking from the houses nearby around dinner time. We don't have a big restaurant, but there are plenty of spots within a two-minute walk. The floor tiles are a bit old and some are chipped, but they stay clean. We try to keep the noise down, though the street outside is always lively. It’s just a local business run by people who live right here in the neighborhood. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that.
