Hotel Rankala Fountain

We’ve been running Hotel Rankala Fountain for quite some time now over on Radhanagri Road in Kolhapur. If you know the area near Ratnakar Bank in Sambhaji Nagar, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. It’s just a regular spot in Sane Guruji Vasahat where we try to keep things moving. The neighborhood gets pretty busy during the day, especially with all the local traffic heading down towards the lake area. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here. Most of the folks who stop by are just looking for a place to sit for a bit or stay over while they finish their business in town. The building has its quirks, like any old place in this part of Kolhapur, but we keep it clean. You’ll see us around most mornings tidying up the front or talking to the neighbors. It’s a loud area sometimes with the honking and the people walking by, but that is just how life is on this road. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, it is just us and a few helpers making sure things work. Sometimes the lights flicker or the door squeaks, but we fix it when we can. It feels like home to us because we spend more time here than anywhere else. We know the milkman and the guys at the bank. That’s just how it goes here in this corner of Kolhapur.
