Hotel Rajveer

Our hotel is located on the Main Road in RK Nagar, right near the Khadicha Ganpati landmark. It’s actually at the very last bus stop, so it’s a bit away from the main chaos of Kolhapur city. It’s a quieter neighborhood compared to the station area. We’ve been here for a while, and most people in the locality know us. The building is a standard three-story structure. We don’t have an elevator, so people have to use the stairs, which keeps everyone fit I suppose. It’s a very local vibe. You can hear the temple bells in the morning and the sound of the last bus pulling away at night. We don’t have a big staff with uniforms. It’s just a few of us wearing our regular clothes. We spend our mornings watering the few plants we have out front and sweeping the entrance. The rooms are plain, with white walls and simple beds. We don’t use fancy scents or anything, just some floor cleaner that smells like lemons. Sometimes the street dogs hang out near our gate, and we have to shoo them away. People stay here when they are visiting family in RK Nagar or have work nearby. We aren't trying to be a big resort. We just provide a room to stay in the 416013 area. It’s honest work, and we like the people who come through. It feels more like a house than a hotel sometimes.
