Down at Plot No. A 82/13 in the Kagal-Hatkanangale Five Star Industrial Area, things stay pretty busy. We are Engenius Metals and this is where all the actual work happens. The district is known for its factories, and we fit right in with the rest of them. It's loud, there's a lot of heat, and everyone usually has grease on their hands by midday. We do a lot of metal work here, mostly stuff that people don't think about until they need it. The workshop is big enough for our machines, but we always seem to be running out of floor space for the raw materials. It's a bit of a drive to get out here, but it's where the industrial zone is, so it makes sense for a metal business. We don't have a lot of office staff; it's mostly guys who know how to handle the heavy equipment. Some days go smoother than others, especially when a machine breaks down or the material delivery is late. That's just how it is in this line of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the quality decent and the customers happy. You won't find any marble floors here, just concrete and metal shavings. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we know what we’re doing.
