Chonnad Steel Corporation

We are over at Shop No- 4923/2 on Mahadwar Road, right by Yash Hospital. Most days it is pretty noisy out front with all the traffic passing by. I usually get here early to open up the steel yard before it gets too hot in the afternoon. Chonnad Steel Corporation has been in this spot for a while now. We keep different types of steel sections piled up in the back. Sometimes it looks like a bit of a mess to an outsider but we know exactly where everything is. People stop by when they are building things nearby and need a few pieces. The hospital next door is a good landmark for people finding us for the first time. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the drivers who drop off the new loads. It is hard work, mostly lifting and moving heavy things all day long. The guys here have been doing this for years and they know the trade well. We don't have a fancy office, just a desk and some old chairs where we sit to do the paperwork. The tea stall around the corner is where we go when we need a break from the heat. It is just a regular local business. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trucks can get in and out of the narrow road without too much trouble.
