Housai Steel Traders

If you go down to Basement No.2 in the Sankul building, you’ll find where we keep everything. We are right across from the KDCC Bank Head Office here in Shahapuri. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because steel takes up a lot of room. Housai Steel Traders has been operating out of this basement for some time. It stays a bit cooler down here than out on the street, which is nice when it’s hot outside. We spend a lot of time moving stock around and talking to people who drop by. Being in Shahapuri means there’s always something going on right outside the door. Most of the day is just checking what came in and what needs to go out to customers. The stairs can be a bit much if you’re doing it all day, but it’s just part of the job. We don’t have a big fancy storefront. It’s just the basement where we keep the materials and handle the paperwork on a small desk. People usually find us because they know the bank across the way. It’s a busy area, so parking is always a bit of a challenge around here. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what someone needs quickly. It’s a simple business, really. Just us and the steel and the regular crowd that comes through Shahapuri every day. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of fans.
