We are over at Plot No. D-68 in the M.I.D.C. area of Miraj. If you know the Govt. Wear House, we are just right near that spot. Jagadeesh Iron & Steels Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a bit now. Most days it’s just us moving metal around and making sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up. The yard gets pretty dusty when the trucks roll in, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We handle a lot of iron and steel pieces, mainly for local building work or whatever the workshops around here need. It isn’t a fancy office with big chairs. We have a small desk and a lot of heavy stock out back. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to hear the traffic from the main road. We keep our inventory sorted as best as we can so nobody has to wait too long. It is a straightforward operation. We show up early, get the gates open, and start loading. Miraj can get hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the sun is right overhead. People know where to find us if they need specific sizes or just want to see what we have in the stacks today. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping track of the ledger. Nothing more to it than that.
