Chavan Pattern Works

Chavan Pattern Works is sitting at 183 in the Industrial Estate in Palus. It’s a quiet enough place compared to the big cities, but we stay busy with the work that comes in. We started this shop because we knew how to work with our hands and there was a need for patterns in this area. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the wood or the metal and shape it until it matches the customer's request. Sometimes the wood is stubborn or the measurements are difficult, but we eventually get it sorted out. The workshop is a bit cluttered with old projects and scraps of material, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big corporate office or a secretary to answer the phones. Usually, it's just one of us putting down a tool to go talk to whoever walked in. We’ve been part of this estate for a while and we know most of the neighbors. We share tools sometimes and help each other out. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We aren't looking for fame, just enough work to keep the lights on and the machines running. It’s just a plain shop in Palus doing what we know best. We try to be fair with everyone who comes through the door. The floor gets swept every evening, but it’s messy again by lunch.
