Chandrashekar Exports Pvt. Ltd.

Our office is at 559 Vyapari Peth in the Shahupuri area. It’s a very busy commercial part of town, so there are always people moving about and carts being pushed through the streets. Chandrashekar Exports Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a big fancy name, but we are really just a small group of people working in a crowded room. We deal with a lot of paperwork because exporting things involves so many rules and forms. Most of our day is spent checking schedules and making sure the containers are where they are supposed to be. The walls are lined with files and old maps. It gets pretty loud outside with the market noise, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in Shahupuri for years and people know we handle things properly. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait for the generator to kick in. We eat our lunch at our desks most days while we talk to people on the phone. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s interesting to see where all the goods end up going. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything organized in the middle of the chaos. It is a bit messy sometimes but we get it done.
