Flavor (Hindusthan International Hotel)

You’ll find us inside the Hindusthan International Hotel on Janpath. We’re in Unit 3 of the A 112 building in Kharvel Nagar. It’s a pretty busy area of Bhubaneshwar, especially with the ICICI Bank main branch right across from us. There is always a lot of movement on the street outside. Cars honking, people rushing to the bank, and the general buzz of Janpath. Inside the hotel, things are a bit quieter, but the kitchen is always moving. We have a lot of different people coming through. Some are staying at the hotel for business, and others are locals who just wanted to eat somewhere air-conditioned. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The floors are hard and our shoes get worn out pretty fast. We don't really have any fancy speeches about what we do. We just come in, put on our uniforms, and start the day's work. The menu has stayed the same for a while because people seem to like what’s on it. We make sure the glasses are clean and the napkins are folded. It’s a lot of small details that nobody really notices unless you miss one. We try not to miss any. It’s just a job at the end of the day, but we take it seriously enough to show up on time and keep the place running the way it should be for the guests.
